Educational Opportunities
The GardenMart is an approved vendor with Ocean Grove Charter School and offers educational opportunities for children in the community, homeschool or not.
Planting for Pollinators
Tuesdays at 10am - $25/child
Open to public and Ocean Grove students. Best for children 3-11 yrs old. Each session is approximately 60 minutes long. We will:
- Learn what pollinators are and why they matter
- Identify plants that help bees, butterflies, and other pollinators
- Practice planting and caring for a living plant
- Build responsibility and connection to nature
*Ocean Grove families: Please submit your service PO at least a week before you plan on attending.
Important note: There are no public bathrooms on the property!
Private Classes at the GardenMart
We can schedule your group for a private class with our guy Nick at The GardenMart. You can choose from our curriculum options or request something special.
Private Classes at your location
We will send our instructor and supplies to your location for a fun and educational activity with your class. Choose the lesson and we'll lead the way.
Open Classes at the GardenMart
We offer open-registration classes at The GardenMart for drop-ins who want to enjoy getting their hands dirty while learning about plants and pollinators.
